The municipality of Vito d'Asio ( Furlanisch Vît ) is located in northeast Italy in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region .

Vito d'Asio is located north of Pordenone and has 700 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). The municipality is located 500  m slm and covers a municipal area of ​​53 km².

The area of ​​the municipality lies at the end of the Alps at the beginning of the Venetian Plain .

In addition to the main town of Frisanco, the municipality includes 13 other villages and hamlets: Anduins, Battaias, Casiacco, Cedolins, Celante di Vito, Fruins, Marinis, Paveon, Pert, Pielungo, Reonis, San Francesco, Selets and Valentinis.
