The three- cushion World Cup 1994/7 was the 4th and last BWA World Cup tournament in the ninth year of the three-cushion World Cup. The BWA World Cup took place from December 7th to 11th, 1994 in this discipline of carom billiards in Ghent , Belgium . It was the ninth World Cup tournament in Belgium.

history

Due to the 50% higher points in the final tournament, the outcome of the overall World Cup had become a duel between the leading Dick Jaspers and Torbjörn Blomdahl . The better placed was the winner. Jaspers already had big problems with his compatriot Jan Arnouts on the first lap. After 0: 2 set deficit, he won the third set with 15:14 and finally won with 3: 2 sets. Then Jaspers played really big and only lost in the semifinals against the eventual winner Semih Saygıner . After two 3-0 wins, Blomdahl only had problems in the semifinals in his 3-2 win over Ludo Dielis after a 2-1 set deficit and was in the final. That was enough for his fourth overall World Cup victory. With his victory, Semih Saygıner ensured the greatest billiards success in his country. The round of 16 match between Marco Zanetti and Louis Havermans ended very unfortunate for the Italian. Weakened by the flu, he had to give up in the third sentence. It later found out that it was even pneumonia.

The exact price money could not be determined from the documents. However, as in all BWA World Cup tournaments, it was at least 100,000 DM.
