Mooshof is a district in the north of Nuremberg and the name of the statistical district 85 . The Mooshof district is located between Almoshof and Ziegelstein on the northern side of Marienbergstrasse.

location

Mooshof is bounded in the east by Rathsbergstrasse and in the south by Marienbergstrasse. The airport is in the north . There is a residential center at Fritz-Munkert- Platz with the Ziegelstein subway station. This is where the Marienberg , Mooshof and Ziegelstein districts meet .

Economy and recreation

The traditional Tucherhof restaurant was built on Marienbergstrasse on a former estate of the Tucher family. The eastern part of Marienbergstrasse is the extension of the Ziegelstein Beer Trail. Two large car dealerships were built on the site of the former drive-in cinema. The north side of Marienbergstrasse, which is characterized by businesses and services, contrasts with the opposite natural area of ​​the Marienberg Park. In the north-eastern part of Mooshof is the industrial park on Andernacher Straße. The Hirschsprunggraben flows through the area in the east from east to west.

education

In Marienberg and Ziegelstein there are several kindergartens, after-school care centers, crèches and two of the Netz-für-Kinder-Groups - a cross-age facility for children from two to twelve years of age. In Ziegelstein, children can attend primary and secondary secondary schools.
