Buick is a brand of automobiles from the People's Republic of China .
Brand history
SAIC General Motors from Shanghai has been using this brand for automobiles since 1998 . General Motors continues to own the trademark rights to Buick .

The first model was the Century . Buick supplied the parts from America. The Sail , a notchback offshoot of the Opel Corsa B, followed in 2001 . In 2003 the Excelle was released , based on the Daewoo Lacetti .
Approvals in China have been passed down for the following models from Chinese production:
- Enclave (since November 2019) slightly smaller than the American Buick Enclave
- Encore (since 2012) 1st generation corresponds to Opel Mokka A.
- Encore GX (since July 2019)
- Envision (since 2014)
- Envision S (since July 2020)
- Excelle (since 2003) similar to Roewe i5
- Excelle GX Wagon (since October 2017) Estate of the Excelle
- Excelle HRV (2008-2009)
- Excelle HRV Wagon (2008-2009)
- Excelle XT and GT (since 2010) initially based on the Opel Astra J ; XT has hatchback and GT has notchback
- GL6 (since October 2017) is based on the Opel Zafira
- GL8 (since 2001) first generation was similar to Pontiac Trans Sport
- LaCrosse (since 2006)
- Park Avenue (2007-2014) successor to the Royaum, similar to Chevrolet Caprice and Pontiac G8
- Regal (since 2003)
- Royaum (2005-2006)
- Velite 5 (April 2017 – April 2019) corresponds to a Chevrolet Volt with hybrid drive
- Velite 6 (since December 2018) optionally with hybrid or electric motor
- Velite 7 (since July 2020)
- Verano (since 2015) hatchback is based on Opel Astra K , while the sedan is slightly larger than the American Buick Verano
