The Copa del Rey 2000/01 was the 97th edition of the Spanish Football Cup.

The competition started on August 30, 2000 and ended with the finals on June 30, 2001 in the Olympic Stadium in Seville . Defending champion of the cup competition was Espanyol Barcelona . Real Zaragoza won the title with a 3-1 win in the final against Celta Vigo . This qualified the club for the 2001/02 UEFA Cup .
