Crouy is a northern commune with 2,905 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Soissons and the canton of Soissons-1 (until 2015: canton of Soissons-Nord ). The inhabitants are called Crouyssien (ne) s .
geography
Crouy is a banlieue in the north of Soissons . Crouy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Clamecy and Braye in the north, Vuillery and Margival in the northeast, Vregny in the east, Bucy-le-Long in the east and southeast, Villeneuve-Saint-Germain in the south, Soissons in the south and southwest, Cuffies in the west as well Leury to the northwest.
