The 2009/10 season of the Regionalliga was the second season of the Regionalliga as the fourth highest division in German football. It was played in three regional seasons - north, west and south - with 18 teams each. The regional league was organized by the German Football Association DFB , which transferred the technical administration to the Northeast German Football Association NOFV (Regionalliga Nord), the West German Football and Athletics Association WFLV (Regionalliga West) and the South German Football Association SFV (Regionalliga Süd) . The season started on August 7, 2009 and ended on May 29, 2010.
The champions of the North, West and South seasons rose directly to the 3rd division . The last three teams of the seasons west and south and the last four clubs in the north were relegated to the respective league .
North
The 2009/10 season of the Regionalliga Nord started on August 7, 2009 and ended on May 29, 2010. SV Babelsberg 03 rose to the 3rd division . Tennis Borussia Berlin filed for insolvency and was already relegated before the end of the season, as well as being in the table.
