The 61st Golden Globe Awards ceremony was held on January 25, 2004 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills , California .

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King won the most awards with four awards. On the Road to Cold Mountain topped the nominees list with eight nominations, with Big Fish havingthe most nominations (four) without an award.
