List of Ligue 1's top scorers
This list names the top scorer in professional French Ligue 1 ( called Division 1 until 2002 ) in football since 1932/33, both the most successful goal scorers of each season and the most successful goal scorers overall. The missing seasons from 1939/40 to 1944/45 (" war championships ") are not considered official championships; their best goalgetter cannot yet be fully determined.

No information is available for 1939/40 and 1940/41. For the 1941/42 season Guillet / Laforge name the Rouen attacker José Mandaluniz (17 hits in 16 matches in the northern group), for 1942/43 in the north Stefan Dembicki ("Stanis") ( RC Lens , 43 goals in 30 point games) and im South Emmanuel Aznar ( Olympique Marseille , 45 in also 30 games). In 1943/44 in a nationwide league with regional selection teams (équipes fédérales) and between 27 and 30 games played, Stanis (ÉF Lens-Artois, 41) were again in the forefront, ahead of René Bihel (ÉF Lille-Flandres, 38) and Émile Bongiorni (ÉF Paris-Capitale, 37). In the last year of the war in 1944/45 - again with club teams and again in two seasons - the most accurate shooters in the northern group were René Bihel ( Lille OSC ) and Pierre Sinibaldi ( Stade Reims , 30 each) ahead of André Simonyi ( Red Star , 29), im South Roger Planté ( Girondins Bordeaux , 25) before Désiré Koranyi ( FC Sète , 22), with the teams playing 21 or 22 games.

Of the players active in Ligue 1 in 2019/20 , the most successful goal scorers are Edinson Cavani (136), Jimmy Briand (93), Florian Thauvin (78), Dimitri Payet (72), Loïc Rémy , Wissam Ben Yedder (64 each), Kylian Mbappé (63) and Souleymane Camara (62). (Status: after the last matchday 2018/19)
