history

Lambrechtshagen

The place Lambrechtshagen was divided into two parts for a long time: The western part was the Hof Lambrechtshagen, the eastern part the village Lambrechtshagen. Some of these structures can still be seen today. Hof Lambrechtshagen was the manor house with adjoining stables, manor park and some day laborers' cottages on Dorfstrasse. The village of Lambrechtshagen was the name given to the church and the individual farms along a path.

Lambrechtshagen was first mentioned on July 8th, 1233 in a document from Bishop Brunward . After that, the Lambrechtshäger Church belonged to the Archdeaconate Rühn . On August 9, 1286, Doberan Monastery won half the tithe of Lambrechtshagen. After 1300, the von Schwaß and von Barnekow families were listed as owners of large estates, and around 1400 the von Gummers. In 1505 Anna von Gummern sold the estate to the Mecklenburg dukes. With the dissolution of the Marienehe monastery in 1552, the parish of Lambrechtshagen came under the control of the Lutheran regional church. The first pastor after the Reformation was a Johann Leverick in 1541, of whom it was said that “he was still a papist”.

From 1618 the Domanialgut Hof Lambrechtshagen was regularly leased.

Eight years after the end of the Thirty Years War , peasants in the village turned to the duke in 1656 and asked for economic help. In 1676, Lambrechtshagen was sacked by Danish soldiers.

In 1704 Pastor Johannes Friedrich created a list of confessors. After that, 93 people lived in the village. In 1728, a violent hurricane repeatedly devastated the village. In 1745/46 the Dutch factory and the manor barn were destroyed by fire.

On October 1, 1873, the community of Lambrechtshagen was established, consisting of the village of Lambrechtshagen, the Vorweden hereditary lease and the Mönkweden timber maintenance company. Hof Lambrechtshagen received electricity from 1913, the parish and sexton did not follow until 1930. According to a resolution of the state government, the school and church were separated in the same year.

On April 1, 1937, Hof Lambrechtshagen was incorporated into the municipality of Lambrechtshagen.

On May 1st, 1945 tanks of the Red Army rolled through Sievershagen, the Second World War was over. In the months that followed, there were repeated looting. As early as June 15, 1945, regular services were held in the church. The rectory and church survived the war with minor damage from flak fragments. On October 1st, the schools in Allershagen, Lambrechtshagen and Sievershagen resumed operations. In autumn 1945 the land of the Domanial lease Hof Lambrechtshagen was divided up as part of the land reform .

The sports community "Tractor Sievershagen" was founded on June 8, 1950.

Some new farmers suffered a serious setback on the night of December 30th to 31st, 1950: a major fire destroyed numerous farms. A nationwide fundraiser was able to avert the ruin. In 1951 some "agricultural village cooperatives" were first merged, and on February 23, 1956, LPG Lambrechtshagen / Allershagen was founded. Allershagen has been part of the municipality since 1956, and Sievershagen since 1961. In 1976 Sievershagen and Lambrechtshagen were connected to the central water supply.

In 1983 the community Lambrechtshagen had 1,023 inhabitants. In 1988 the Lambrechtshagen school was closed and the children went to school in the Reutershagen district of Rostock until 1994 .

With the political turnaround in 1989/90, the Vorweden military training area was closed, new residential areas were developed and a shopping park was built on the B 105 in 1994 . In 1991 the Warnow-West Office was established. The former manor house was reconstructed by a youth club. From the Administrative Reform 1994, the membership of the community of switched circuit Rostock-country to the district of Bad Doberan , today district of Rostock. Thanks to its proximity to the Hanseatic city of Rostock and favorable building conditions, the municipality was able to buck the trend in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and significantly increase its population.

Between 2011 and 2014, the Rotbäk (also Rotbach ) was extensively renatured , which flows from the Mönkwedener Wald through Lambrechtshagen to Bartenshagen and flows into the footbridges there . In 2011, after heavy rain, the outdated and damaged ditch systems caused immense flood damage.

Sievershagen

Farm with orchards

The name Sievershagen is derived from the first Hagemeister Sievert, who led the clearing for land reclamation in 1326 and established the place. Sievershagen was first mentioned in a document on June 5, 1326. In the 14th century, some noble families, but also Rostock citizens owned land in Sievershagen. In 1418 the mayor Heinrich Katzow from Rostock bought the place. In 1435, the Carthusian Monastery Marienehe was the owner. After the Reformation , the town came into the possession of the Mecklenburg dukes in 1552, from 1557 to the Duchy of Güstrow , from 1611 to the Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin . In the Thirty Years' War from 1618 to 1648 the farmers suffered severe economic damage. In 1669 Sievershagen had 75 inhabitants. From 1753 onwards, farmers were formed and farmers settled. In 1821 the arable land was re-measured and land consolidation took place. The new school was inaugurated in 1857. A cholera epidemic claimed 33 lives in 1859. On June 18, 1964, a devastating fire broke out in Sievershagen, favored by the prevailing thatched roofs.

After the political change in 1989 Sievershagen developed into a popular settlement for former Rostock residents. The number of inhabitants multiplied through the construction of new residential areas and the settlement of commercial enterprises.

Vorweden

The name Vorweden was first documented in 1774. From 1819 to 1820 the leasehold was built from the stones of the demolished Rostock Higher Regional Court. On the "Papenland" from 1821 Büdnereien were formed.

Mönkweden

Mönkweden. Forest with forestry farm

In 1653 Mönkweden was first mentioned as "der Mönke Weden" (the willows of the monks). In 1802 the Mönkweden forest served the ducal family as a hunting ground. Around 1808 Mönkweden became a place of excursions for the Rostockers, but after the road from Rostock to Bad Doberan was built in 1825, the forest restaurant lost its guests and became deserted. In 1871 there were only six residents. In 1891 the grand ducal forest authority in Doberan planned the complete deforestation of the Mönkwede forest, but that did not happen. The officers of the Rostock Fusilier Regiment hunted regularly until 1918. After eleven years of dispute, the Forsthof received electricity in 1939. In 1942 Mönkweden was attacked by Allied aircraft for reasons that could not be explained.

Allershagen

Farm in Allershagen

Allershagen was first mentioned in a document on October 4, 1273. Because of the inheritance disputes between the Mecklenburg princes and the Danish king in 1312, the farmers who lived here were seriously damaged. From 1387 Allershagen was subordinate to the Vogtei Schwaan . After the Doberan Monastery was expropriated from 1552 to 1557 , Allershagen came to the Doberan ducal Domanialamt. In 1704 there were 72 inhabitants in the place. On July 1, 1871, the Allershagen community was formed and the school opened in 1880. On July 26, 1883, the Rostock-Bad Doberan railway line began operating. In 1911 the community was electrified.

Economy and Infrastructure

Ostseepark in Sievershagen

In the places Lambrechtshagen and Allershagen there are no major industrial establishments apart from the infrastructure facilities such as the community center with sports facilities, the integrative day care center and the church. Some offices of planners, lawyers and representatives have their headquarters here next to small craft businesses. Some farmers manage their farms, including a larger dairy cattle facility.

The Sievershagen district is particularly characterized by trade and commerce because of its proximity to the Hanseatic city of Rostock and its convenient location directly on the B 105 and the motorway feeder to the A 20 . Numerous medium-sized and nationally active companies have settled here since 1990, including hotels, car dealerships, technology companies and furniture stores. The establishment of a shopping center in May 1994 alone created around 700 new jobs. In order to improve the traffic connection, the B 105 from Rostock to Sievershagen was expanded to four lanes by 2006.

Sports

The sports club Sievershäger SV 1950 was founded in today's Sievershagen district as a tractor Sievershagen . The club has around 400 members in the sports of soccer, gymnastics and table tennis, with soccer being the main focus of the club with 15 teams. The first soccer team plays in the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Association League . The sports field in Sievershagen was only partially abandoned in favor of a new sports facility in Lambrechtshagen, and completely abandoned in 2009 after an additional artificial turf field and new team and sanitary rooms were built in addition to the grass field in Lambrechtshagen.
