  • The federal motorway 650 (abbreviation: BAB 650 ) - short form: Autobahn 650 (abbreviation: A 650 ) - runs from Bad Dürkheim- Bruch to Ludwigshafen am Rhein . The autobahn carries the main burden of commuters between the Weinstrasse around Bad Dürkheim and the Ludwigshafen / Mannheim conurbation . This shifted commuter traffic from the B 37 to the autobahn, relieving Oggersheim in particular .

The A 650 has been rebuilt and expanded several times in the last 15 years:

    • four-lane expansion to the Friedelsheim junction
    • six-lane expansion between Oggersheimer Kreuz and Ludwigshafen
    • Road renovation in the area between the Ruchheim and Maxdorf junctions .
