- Paris / France : After the series of attacks in the south of the country , the alleged bomber's brother is charged with alleged complicity in murder and conspiracy in terrorist acts.
- Saarbrücken / Germany : In the early state elections in Saarland , the CDU and Alliance 90 / The Greens , which have ruled the Jamaica coalition so far, achieve 35.2% and 5.0% of the votes; the FDP missed the receipt of the state parliament mandates with 1.2%. The SPD achieved 30.6%, Die Linke 16.1% and the pirates succeeded in entering the state parliament with 7.4% .
