Alt-Mölln is a municipality in the Duchy of Lauenburg in Schleswig-Holstein, east of Hamburg, just outside the city of Mölln . She belongs to the Breitenfelde office . Besides Alt Mölln, the community has no other districts.

history

Alt-Mölln was mentioned for the first time in 1194. The population has increased from 269 in 1939 to 775 at the turn of the millennium.

Of the eleven seats in the municipal council, the CDU and the electoral community AWG have each had five seats since the 2013 local elections and the SPD has one.

Blazon : "A golden windmill (Galerieholländer) above a shortened corrugated shield base in green, divided by silver and blue in a wavy cut, accompanied by an upright golden barrel on the right, and a filled golden sack on the left."

The coat of arms symbolizes the wealth of the mill operations in this area as well as the abundance of water in this area. It has been run since the 800th anniversary of the town in 1994.
