Château Lunas

Lunas is a French commune with 668 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region . The inhabitants are called Lunassiens .

geography

Lunas lies on the southern edge of the Cevennes , west of Lodève . In the northeast is the Causse du Larzac , in the west are the Monts de l'Espinouse . In the south the landscape becomes flatter. The rivers Gravezon and Nize meet in the village and flow into the Orb after three kilometers . The municipality is part of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park .
