Soorts-Hossegor is a French municipality with 3580 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Soorts-Hossegor is about 21 km north of Biarritz . The district of Hossegor is located directly on the Atlantic coast and is used as a bathing resort.
On the beach of Hossegor, surfers often find very good conditions. The La Gravière and Les Culs Nus beach sections are internationally known among surfers.
