Argentina

In Argentina, AB-InBev was mainly active through its daughter AmBev. With the takeover of SABMiller in 2016, the Zárate brewery was added. Today the operations are bundled in the Cervecería y Maltería Quilmes SAICAyG .

The brewery in Zárate has a capacity of around 5.592 million hl. It was 1994 by the Warsteiner brewery as CASA Isenbeck built around Isenbeck beer in Argentina for sale. In 2010 SABMiller acquired the brewery.

Mendoza Brewery

The brewery was founded in Quilmes in 1888 by a German immigrant . In 2002 AmBev took a 37.5% stake in the brewery group, and since 2006 AmBev has held the majority of the shares. The brewery's capacity is 5 million hectoliters.

Australia

AB Inbev will sell its Australian business to Japan's largest brewery group Asahi in 2019/20. The breweries were owned by SABMiller in 2016 , with whom AB Inbev merged.

In September 2017, AB-InBev took over the 4 Pines Brewing Company in Sydney. The brewery was founded in 2008 in the Manly district . The 4 Pines Brewing Company opened a second brewery in the Sydney suburb of Brookvale in 2011 .

The brewery, based in Abbotsford (Victoria) , a suburb of Melbourne , was founded in 1903. In 1990 CUB was renamed Foster's Group . In 2011 Foster's was taken over by SABMiller. Around 3.1 million hl were brewed there in 2016.

The Yatala brewery was founded in 1988 as Power's Brewery . In 1993 it was taken over by Carlton & United Breweries . In 2016, around 3.8 million hl were brewed there.

The brewery was founded in Hobart ( Tasmania ) in 1832 . It has been part of Carlton & United Breweries since 1993 . In 2016, around 200,000 hl were brewed there.

The brewery was founded in Adelaide in 2015 . Two years later, in November 2017, the brewery was taken over by Carlton & United Breweries. At that time the annual output was around 30,000 hl.

Bolivia

The brewery was founded in Ponta Grossa in 1906 . In 1941 it was taken over by the Antarctica brewery. The brewery was shut down in 1992. Production was reactivated in 2016. The annual capacity is 380,000 hl.

The brewery is located in a district of Viamão . The capacity of the brewery, founded in 1998, was expanded to 9.9 million hl per year in 2010. In 2010, 489 people were employed.

Columbia Brewery

The Columbia Brewery in Creston goes back to the Fort Steel Brewery founded in 1898. This was taken over by Labatt in 1974.

Edmonton Brewery

The Edmonton brewery opened in 1964.

London brewery

The brewery is the origin of today's Labatt Group. It was founded in London in 1874 .

LaSalle brewery

Labatt opened a sales office in Montréal in 1878 . In 1956 a brewery was opened in nearby LaSalle .

St. John's Brewery

The brewery in St. John's was founded in 1933. It was taken over by Labatt three decades later.

Colombia

Cervecería Bavaria

The Cervecería Bavaria , based in Bogotá , was founded in 1889 by Leo S. Kopp , a German immigrant. The breweries came into the possession of AB-InBev through the acquisition of SABMiller in 2016. SABMiller has owned it since 2005. It now operates six breweries and two malt houses.

Barranquilla Brewery

The Barranquilla brewery opened in 1913. Around 5 million hectoliters of beer are produced annually.

Boyacá Brewery

The brewery in Tibasosa in the Boyacá department opened in 1990. Around 2.5 million hectoliters of beer are produced annually.

Bucaramanga Brewery

The brewery in Bucaramanga opened in 1948. Around 2.3 million hectoliters of beer are produced annually.

Tocancipá Brewery

The brewery in Tocancipá was opened in 1992 as Cervecería Leona . Bavaria joined the company in 2000 and took over the entire brewery in 2007. Around 11.2 million hectoliters of beer are produced annually.

Valle Brewery

The Itagüí brewery opened in 1930. In 1995 it was taken over by Bavaria. Around 3.4 million hl of beer are produced annually.

In May 2015, Ambev took over the Bogotá Beer Company. The Bogotá Beer Company is a chain of brewpubs founded in 1997. In 2015, 27 brewpubs and one industrial brewery were operated in Tocancipá.

Nigeria

AB-InBev entered the Nigerian market with the acquisition of SABMiller in 2016.

Pabod Breweries Ltd

The brewery originally opened in Port Harcourt in 1982 . In 1996 the brewery was shut down. In 2007, the German Brewtech GmbH acquired the brewery, reactivated it and sold it to SABMiller.

Intafact Beverages Ltd

The brewery in Onitsha was built in 2012.

International Breweries Plc.

The brewery is located in Ilesha . It was founded in 1971 and originally designed for a capacity of 200,000 hectoliters. In 1983 it was expanded to 500,000 hl.

The Warsteiner Brewery later took over the majority of the shares. Warsteiner sold them to Groupe Castel in 2008 . In 2012 it was sold to SABMiller and in 2016 it was owned by AB-InBev.

Sagamu brewery

AB-InBev launched its Budweiser brand in Nigeria in 2018. A brewery was built in Shagamu for this purpose . The brewery is the Group's second largest brewery in Africa. The brewery went into operation in September 2018.

The company was founded in 1909 as La Panamá Brewing and Refrigerating Company . In 2002 it was taken over by the Colombian Bavaria brewery. This in turn has been part of SABMiller since 2005 and therefore also of AB-InBev since 2016. The brewery is located in Panama City .

National Breweries

The brewery was founded in Ndola in 1963 and operated by the South African Breweries (SAB). Nationalized in 1973, SAB bought back the Lusaka- based brewery in 1994. The brewery came into the possession of SABMiller via SAB and became AB-InBev in 2016. In October 2017 the sale to the Zimbabwean Delta Corporation was announced.
