The list of rivers and canals in Brandenburg is an incomplete listing of rivers that run completely or partially through Brandenburg or touch the state at its borders.

Natural rivers

Elbe river system

The Elbe is 1091 km long and rises in the Giant Mountains in the Czech Republic at an altitude of approx. 1386 m, flows through or touches the Czech Republic, Saxony , Saxony-Anhalt , Brandenburg, Lower Saxony , Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , Hamburg , Schleswig-Holstein and flows in 727 km in Germany near Cuxhaven in the North Sea. In Brandenburg it forms the state border (state border in the middle of the river) over a length of 84.3 km, of which 13.3 km is the border with Saxony, 41.3 km is the border with Saxony-Anhalt and 29.7 km is the border Lower Saxony.

The Steinbach , which rises on the Karower Platte, flows into the Havel via the artificial waterways Karower Landgraben , Fiener Hauptvorfluter and Elbe-Havel Canal.

River system or

The Oder / Odra is 850 km long and rises in the Czech Republic , flows through or touches Poland and forms the Brandenburg-Polish border over a length of 179 km.

Ucker / Uecker river system

The Ucker / Uecker 103 km (about half of Brandenburg path), rises near Alt-Temmen , crosses Oberuckersee , Unteruckersee , ablates Nieden in Vorpommern the name Uecker , flows past Pasewalk , Torgelow and Eggesin until after Ueckermünde in the Stettiner Haff (Oderhaff or Kleines Haff).
