Ceilhes-et-Rocozels ( Occitan Selha e Rocosèls ) is a French commune with 324 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Béziers and the canton of Clermont-l'Hérault .

The community was created in 1794 by merging Ceilhes and Rocozels.

geography

The municipality is located on the upper Orb on the border with the Aveyron department , about 33 kilometers south of Millau between the Causse plateau in the north and the Monts de l'Espinouse mountain range in the southwest. The municipality is part of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park .
