EC Was Here is a live album by Eric Clapton , released in August 1975 on the RSO Records label. The live recordings were made at the concerts on July 19 and 20, 1974 at the Long Beach Arena , on December 4, 1974 at the Hammersmith Odeon and on June 25, 1975 at the Providence Civic Center . In 1990 the album was also released on CD.

Reception and awards

The music website Allmusic rated the album with three stars out of five. Critic Matthew Greenwald found it to be an excellent document from this period, although it had gone under by the time it was published. The album reached number 34 in the German album charts and stayed in the charts for 34 weeks. It was ranked 14th in the UK and 20th in the American album charts .
