List of German language books for children and young people

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This list contains a selection of books for children and young people by German-language authors that are recognized in their own Wikipedia article or are at least listed within a Wikipedia article on an author in his bibliography and therefore makes no claim - also in view of the large number of new publications for completeness.

Sorted by classics up to 1900 and the reading ages of toddler literature (picture books) , children's books and books for young people , the respective genres are again listed in alphabetical order , in which the authors and their works are finally listed in alphabetical order.

Apart from the first section Classics up to 1900 , which explicitly lists book publications written before 1900 as children's and youth literature, this list is not sorted chronologically.
