Saint-Martial-d'Artenset ( Occitan Sent Marcau d'Artenset ) is a southwestern French city and a municipality (commune) with 955 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the far west of the department Dordogne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Périgueux and the canton of Montpon-Ménestérol . The inhabitants are called Saint-Martialais .

Saint-Martial-d'Artenset is about 55 kilometers west-southwest of Périgueux and is bordered to the north by the river Isle . Saint-Martial-d'Artenset is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Laurent-des-Hommes in the north and north-east, Beaupoyet in the east, Saint-Sauveur-Lalande in the east and south-east, Saint-Rémy in the south and south-west and Montpon-Ménestérol in the West and northwest.
