William Kirk "Will" Kaynor (born November 29, 1884 in Sanborn , O'Brien County , Iowa , †  December 20, 1929 in Washington, DC ) was an American politician . In 1929 he represented the state of Massachusetts in the US House of Representatives .

Career

Will Kaynor attended public schools in his home country. At times he worked in Clear Lake as a drug store clerk. He then moved to Buffalo County in South Dakota for some time , where he tended cattle as a cowboy. He then returned to the east to continue his own training. Until 1908 he attended the Hotchkiss School in Connecticut . This was followed by a study at Yale University until 1912 . In the following years he worked in Springfield, Massachusetts in the real estate and insurance industries. Between July and November 1918, during the final stages of World War I, he was at an officers' school in Camp Lee, Virginia . He then embarked on a political career as a member of the Republican Party . From 1920 to 1924 he was a member of the Springfield Borough Council. From 1923 to 1928 he was also a post office owner in this city .

In the 1928 congressional election , Kaynor was elected to the United States House of Representatives in Washington in the second constituency of Massachusetts, where he succeeded Henry L. Bowles on March 4, 1929 . He was able to exercise this mandate until December 20th of the same year. On that day he was the victim of a plane crash near the federal capital.
