The 2014 Critics' Choice Television Awards were presented by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) on June 19, 2014 at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills , California . The nominations were announced on May 28, 2014. Programs that were broadcast in prime time in the period from June 1, 2013 to May 31, 2014 were taken into account .
