Funkenhausen is a court in Hückeswagen in the Oberbergisches Kreis , administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

Funkenhausen is located in northeastern Hückeswagen near the Bevertalsperre . The Hofschaft can be reached via an access road that branches off from Bundesstraße 483 (B483) near Buchholz .

Other neighboring towns are Linde , Mickenhagen , Zipshausen , Neuenherweg , Heinhausen and Eckenhausen . Walked are Girke Hausen and place Hausen . The Mickenhagener Bach flows past the Hofschaft.

history

In 1490 the place was mentioned for the first time in church accounts. The spelling of the first mention was (Hennesken) Funke . The map Topographia Ducatus Montani from 1715 shows the farm as Funckenhusen . In the 18th century the place belonged to the Bergisches Amt Bornefeld-Hückeswagen .

In 1815/16 nine people lived in the village. In 1832 Funkenhausen belonged to the Herdingsfelder Honschaft , which was part of the Hückeswagen external citizenship within the Hückeswagen mayor . The place, categorized as a hamlet according to the statistics and topography of the administrative district of Düsseldorf , had two residential buildings and two agricultural buildings at that time. At that time, 16 residents lived in the village, all of whom were Protestant.

In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province in 1885, a house with ten residents is given. At that time the place belonged to the rural community Neuhückeswagen within the Lennep district . In 1895 the place had a house with eleven inhabitants, in 1905 one house and six inhabitants.
