The Mairie

Pendé ( Picard : Pinda ) is a northern French municipality with 1069 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Abbeville and is part of the canton of Friville-Escarbotin .

geography

The center of the extensive community in the spring pond of the stream Amboise , which borders the Somme Bay , the estuary of the Somme , in the north , is around five kilometers west-southwest of Saint-Valery-sur-Somme . The meter-gauge railway of the Chemin de Fer de la Baie de Somme from Noyelles-sur-Mer to Cayeux-sur-Mer runs through the municipality. Pendé includes the hamlets of Sallenelle and Routhiauville in the north, and Le Petit Pendé and Tilloy in the south, which have grown together with Pendé.
