The Alcatraz Hard Rock & Metal Festival is a place held annually in August heavy metal - Festival in the Belgian city of Kortrijk . The festival took place for the first time in 2008 under the name Alcatraz Metal Festival as a one-day indoor event in the Brielpoort concert hall in Deinze . In 2013 the festival moved to Kortrijk and got its current name. The festival has been taking place on two days since 2014 and on three days since 2017.
