The three- cushion world cup 1999/4 was the third UMB / BWA world cup tournament in the 14th year of the three-cushion world cup. The tournament took place from November 24th to 28th, 1999 in this discipline of carom billiards in Kemer City in the Antalya region. It was the eighth three-cushion World Cup tournament in Turkey.

history

In the fourth World Cup tournament of the year there was the fourth winner. The previously unconvincing defending champion Torbjörn Blomdahl won the tournament in Kemer City and once again has every chance of the overall World Cup. After two clear victories, however, he was just about to end in the quarter-finals against the Berlin winner Marco Zanetti . After winning two sets in a total of 11 shots, Zanetti had match point in the third set in the eleventh shot. He couldn't use it and Blomdahl won the set and the whole match with 3-2 sets. After a clear 3-0 set win against Dick Jaspers in the semifinals, the American Sang Chun Lee waited in the final . After winning two sets, it looked like a clear win for Blomdahl. Lee won sets three and four. In the decisive fifth set Lee started strong and quickly led clearly. Blomdahl fought his way back up and at 14:14 Lee had three match points, all of which he just missed. In the eighth shot there was a chance for Blomdahl which he used with nerves. Before the last World Cup tournament of the year, Sang Chun Lee took the overall lead with 145 points. It was followed by Blomdahl with 120 and Jaspers and Zanetti with 110 points each.

The exact price money could not be determined from the documents.
