The Land constitutional hereditary comparison (LGGEV) of 1755 was the agreement between Duke Christian Ludwig II , the regent of the state part of Mecklenburg-Schwerin , with representatives of the united states , d. H. the Mecklenburg knighthood and the rural towns, to reorganize their legal relationships. With the signing on 18 April 1755, the parties created the Constitution of the Mecklenburg State (with the exception of the Principality of Ratzeburg , which no estates had), with a short interruption in 1849 and 1850 to the abdication of the last Grand Duke Friedrich Franz IV. On November 14, 1918 was valid for more than 160 years. Mecklenburg-Strelitz ratified the settlement on July 11, 1755.
