The Peugeot Type 116 is an early car model from the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 500 of which were produced at the Audincourt plant in 1909 .

The vehicles had a four-cylinder four - stroke engine , which was arranged at the front and propelled the rear wheels via cardan shafts. The engine developed 12 HP from a displacement of 2212 cm³ .

There were models 116, 116 B and 116 C. With a wheelbase of 279.5 cm and a track width of 128 cm, the vehicle length was 393 cm, the vehicle width 161 cm and the vehicle height 195 cm. The torpedo and double phaeton body styles offered space for four people.
