Peugeot type 14

The Peugeot Type 14 is an early car model from the French car manufacturer Peugeot , of which 18 were produced at the Audincourt plant from 1897 to 1898 .

The vehicles had a two - cylinder four-stroke engine made in-house , which was arranged horizontally in the rear and powered the rear wheels via a chain. The engine developed 4 HP from a displacement of 1645 cm³ .

With a wheelbase of 145 cm, the vehicle length was 230 cm and the vehicle height 140 cm. The two-seater body shape offered space for two people.
