Peugeot Type 96

The Peugeot Type 96 is an early car model from the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 55 of which were produced at the Audincourt plant in 1907 .

The vehicles had a four-cylinder four - stroke engine , which was arranged at the front and propelled the rear wheels via cardan shafts. The engine developed 12 hp from a displacement of 2207 cm³ .

There was only the model 96 B. With a wheelbase of 303.5 cm, the track width was 135 cm. The body shape Doppelphaeton offered space for four people.
