The Peugeot 301 is a car model made by the French car manufacturer Peugeot .

Since 2012, Peugeot has used the same model name again for the Peugeot 301 (2012) .

description

The model was the larger addition to the Peugeot 201 . Between 1932 and 1936, Peugeot produced a total of 70,497 vehicles in various variants. The successor was the Peugeot 302 in 1936 .

technology

Its front four-cylinder four - stroke engine had a double, the more powerful versions triple crankshaft and side-mounted valves. From a displacement of 1465 cm³ it developed 34  hp (25 kW) at 3500 rpm, with the 301 D it was 35 hp (26 kW) at 4000 rpm. It worked via an unsynchronized three-speed gearbox and a shaft with a joint on the worm of the final drive. The rigid drawbar axle at the rear has quarter-elliptical longitudinal leaf springs that are clamped behind the axle on the frame. The front wheels are individually suspended on wishbones and a transverse leaf spring.
