The Peugeot Type 2 is the first petrol-powered car model from the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 4 of which were produced at the Valentigney plant from 1890 to 1891 .

description

The vehicles had a V2 - four-stroke engine to license Daimler , who was placed in the rear and driving the rear wheels via chains. The engine developed 2 HP from a displacement of 565 cm³ .

With a wheelbase of 140 cm and a track width of 115 cm, the vehicle length was 230 cm, the vehicle width 135 cm and the vehicle height 145 cm. The Phaeton body offered space for two people. One of the four vehicles was a tricycle.
