The Peugeot Type 31 is an early car model of the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 7 of which were produced at the Audincourt plant from 1900 to 1902 .

The vehicles had a two - cylinder four-stroke engine made in-house , which was arranged horizontally in the rear and powered the rear wheels via a chain. The engine developed 8 hp .

With a wheelbase of 130 cm, the vehicle length was 210 cm and the vehicle height was 140 cm. The Duc body shape (light two-seater) offered space for two people.
