Peugeot Type 34

The Peugeot Type 34 is an early car model of the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 43 of which were produced at the Audincourt plant from 1901 to 1902 .

The vehicles had a two - cylinder four-stroke engine made in-house , which was arranged horizontally in the rear and powered the rear wheels via a chain. The engine developed between 7 and 12 hp .

With a wheelbase of 210 to 244 cm, the vehicle length was 310 to 400 cm, the vehicle width 170 to 210 cm and the vehicle height 180 to 240 cm. The body shape of open delivery vans offered space for two people.
