Peugeot Type 72

The Peugeot Type 72 is an early car model from the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 138 of which were produced at the Lille plant in 1905 .

The vehicles had a four-cylinder four - stroke engine , which was arranged at the front and powered the rear wheels via a chain. The engine developed 18 HP from a displacement of 3635 cm³ .

There were models 72 A and 72 B. With a wheelbase of either 277 cm or 301.5 cm, the track width was 140 cm. The coupé-sedan and double phaeton body styles offered space for four to five people.
