The Peugeot Type 143 is an early car model of the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 300 of which were produced at the Audincourt plant from 1912 to 1913 .

The vehicles had a four-cylinder four - stroke engine , which was arranged at the front and propelled the rear wheels via cardan shafts. The engine developed 12 HP from a capacity of 2000 cm³ .

With a wheelbase of 283.9 cm, the track width was 125 cm. The Torpedo body shape offered space for four people, the sports car for two people.
