The Peugeot Type 81 is an early car model of the French car manufacturer Peugeot , of which 251 copies were produced at the Audincourt plant in 1906 .

The vehicles had a four-cylinder four - stroke engine , which was arranged at the front and powered the rear wheels via a chain. The engine developed 12 hp from a displacement of 2207 cm³ .

There were models 81 A and 81 B. With a wheelbase of 278 cm and a track width of 132 cm, the vehicle length was 382 cm, the vehicle width 161 cm and the vehicle height 195 cm. The body shapes double phaeton, torpedo and coupé sedan offered space for four people.
