The Peugeot 190 is a car model of the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 33,677 of which were produced at the Sochaux plant from 1928 to 1931 .

The vehicles had a four-cylinder four - stroke engine , which was arranged at the front and propelled the rear wheels via cardan shafts. The engine developed 14 hp from a displacement of 695 cm³ . In contrast to the predecessor Peugeot Type 172 , the model had four-wheel brakes.

The body was a framework made of ash wood that was planked with sheet metal. Some frameworks were covered with artificial leather using the method of Charles Weymann. With this technology you could save weight and minimize annoying squeaking noises.

There were models 190 S and 190 Z. With a wheelbase of 226.8 cm and a track width of 104.2 cm at the front and 106 cm at the rear, the vehicle length was between 310 cm and 370 cm, the vehicle width 130 cm and the vehicle height between 162 and 168 cm. The body shapes inside handlebar, convertible, torpedo, all-weather convertible, faux convertible and delivery van with tarpaulin offered space for two to four people.
