Peugeot Type 28

The Peugeot Type 28 is an early car model from the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 8 of which were produced at the Audincourt plant from 1899 to 1900 .

The vehicles had a two - cylinder four-stroke engine made in-house , which was arranged horizontally in the rear and powered the rear wheels via a chain. The engine developed 12 hp .

With a wheelbase of 175 cm, the vehicle length was 270 cm and the vehicle height was 200 cm. The Phaeton body shape offered space for four people.
