The Peugeot Type 181 is a car model of the French car manufacturer Peugeot , of which 9259 copies were produced at the Audincourt plant from 1925 to 1928 .

The vehicles had a four-cylinder four - stroke engine , which was arranged at the front and propelled the rear wheels via cardan shafts. The engine developed 40 hp from a displacement of 1615 cm³ .

There was the standard model 181 and the slightly longer model 181 B. With a wheelbase of 279.5 cm or 286.5 cm and a track width of 126 cm, the vehicle length was 400 cm or 407 cm, the vehicle width 150 cm and the vehicle height 180 cm. The body styles torpedo, all-weather convertible, inner handlebar and coupé offered space for four to five people.
