Peugeot 1007 is the name of a minivan produced between the beginning of 2005 and the end of 2009 by the French car manufacturer Peugeot .

The 3.73 meter long minivan was presented at the Paris Motor Show in spring 2002 as the Sésame study . The two electrically operated sliding doors , which were also retained in the production vehicle, were particularly striking .

The Peugeot 1007 came onto the German market in April 2005 and is based on the same platform as the Peugeot 207 . It is the first passenger vehicle with a four-digit number or double zero as a type designation, which was initially used by Peugeot for such niche models and later also for larger volume models such as crossovers and SUVs .

The Peugeot 1007 has extensive safety equipment as standard: In addition to the usual ABS and seat belt tensioners, an ESP with ASR and a total of seven airbags (driver / front passenger, two side airbags, side curtain airbags at the front and rear and a steering column airbag ). The car, designed as a city ​​lifestyle car , had a base price of 14,000  euros and was therefore considerably more expensive than the in-house competitors Peugeot 206+ or Peugeot 207.

Motorization

The car was last offered (2009) with two petrol and two diesel engines . Before that, there was also a 1.4-liter 16V petrol engine with 65 kW (88 hp). All vehicles meet the Euro 4 standard ; the diesel engine of the HDi FAP 110 with 80 kW has a particle filter (FAP, Filtre à particules). The 1.4 HDi is also available with the Euro 3; 5L emissions standard.
