Peugeot Type 83

The Peugeot Type 83 is an early car model of the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 71 of which were produced at the Lille plant in 1906 .

The vehicles had a four-cylinder four - stroke engine , which was arranged at the front and powered the rear wheels via a chain. The engine developed 30 HP from a displacement of 6371 cm³ .

There were models 83 A and 83 B. With a wheelbase of 296.5 cm for the 83 A model and 326.5 cm for the 83 B model, the track width was 145 cm. The sedan body shape offered space for four people.
