Peugeot Type 61

The Peugeot Type 61 is an early car model from the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 147 of which were produced at the Lille plant in 1904 .

The vehicles had a four-cylinder four - stroke engine , which was arranged at the front and powered the rear wheels via a chain. The engine developed 12 hp from a displacement of 2155 cm³ .

In the model 61 A with a wheelbase of 230 cm, the track width was 132 cm. The 61 B model was slightly larger, with a wheelbase of 258 cm and a track width of 140 cm. The tonneau and coupé-limousine body styles offered space for four to five people.
