Peugeot Type 42 from 1903

The Peugeot Type 42 is an early car model from the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 79 of which were produced at the Lille plant in 1903 .

The vehicles had a four-cylinder four - stroke engine , which was arranged at the front and powered the rear wheels via a chain. The engine developed 18 HP from a displacement of 3635 cm³ .

The wheelbase was 195 cm. The body shape Doppelphaeton offered space for four people.
