Peugeot Type 7

The Peugeot Type 7 is an early car model of the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 25 of which were produced at the Valentigney plant from 1894 to 1897 .

The vehicles had a two - cylinder four-stroke engine under license from Daimler , which was located in the rear and powered the rear wheels via chains. The engine made between 3 and 3.75 hp from a displacement of 1282 cm³ .

With a wheelbase of 165 cm and a track width of 129 cm at the front and 131 cm at the rear, the vehicle length was 265 cm, the vehicle width 142 cm and the vehicle height 250 cm. The Phaeton body shape offered space for four people.
