The Peugeot Type 126 is an early car model from the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 350 of which were produced at the Audincourt plant in 1910 . A vehicle that has been preserved is exhibited in the Louwman Museum in The Hague .

The vehicles had a four-cylinder four - stroke engine , which was arranged at the front and propelled the rear wheels via cardan shafts. The engine developed 12 HP from a displacement of 2212 cm³ . The top speed was 55 km / h.

With a wheelbase of 299.5 cm, the track width was 128 cm. The Torpedo body shape offered space for four people.
