Peugeot type 13

The Peugeot Type 13 is an early car model of the French car manufacturer Peugeot , five of which were produced at the Valentigney plant from 1895 to 1896 .

The vehicles had a two - cylinder four-stroke engine under license from Daimler , which was located in the rear and powered the rear wheels via chains. The engine developed 3.75 hp from a displacement of 1645 cm³ .

With a wheelbase of 155 cm and a track width of 120 cm at the front and 132 cm at the rear, the vehicle length was 275 cm, the vehicle width 160 cm and the vehicle height 240 cm. The van body shape offered space for two people. One of the five vehicles was a canopy Phaeton .
