Peugeot type 6

The Peugeot Type 6 is an early car model from the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 7 of which were produced at the Valentigney plant in 1894 .

The vehicles had a two - cylinder four-stroke engine under license from Daimler , which was located in the rear and powered the rear wheels via chains. The engine developed 2 HP from a displacement of 565 cm³ .

With a wheelbase of 165 cm and a track width of 129 cm at the front and 131 cm at the rear, the vehicle length was 265 cm, the vehicle width 142 cm and the vehicle height 250 cm. The Phaeton body shape offered space for four people.
