Peugeot Type 29

The Peugeot Type 29 is an early car model of the French car manufacturer Peugeot , 5 of which were produced at the Audincourt plant from 1899 to 1900 .

The vehicles had a two - cylinder four-stroke engine made in-house , which was arranged horizontally in the rear and powered the rear wheels via a chain. The engine developed 12 hp .

With a wheelbase of 230 cm, the vehicle length was 330 cm and the vehicle height was 235 cm. The “Break” body shape offered space for ten people.
